Oh my gob oh my gob oh my gob oh my gob!

It’s HERE! The first full print of Everyone is Finn is IN MY HANDS! The cards (while with visible white on some of the edges) are superb. The stickers have not been used yet. I wish Gamecrafter had included some card stock to USE the stickers on… Nevertheless, I will not fault them for that unless it becomes a glaring problem.

The rulebook is also printed on normal paper (depressing). However, I would have gladly sent away 15 dollars for just the cards, which are on the same stock used for playing cards, so we have a win there.

Three copies are here, and as soon as I properly assemble one, it goes right off to frederator for the holidays!

Update out of NOWHERE!

Hey guys! After a bunch of late nights and being consumed by my gaming hobby, here we are at The Game Crafter where Everyone is Finn has finally had every single card trimmed and filed to appropriate size where I’m about to order the ceremonial first copy-

You can see what it looks like right HERE

I’ll be sending a copy off to frederator, and if I can wrangle permission from them, I’d like to put the game up for sale at JUST the production costs over at TGC, which would run you $13.74 plus shipping- no profit to either TGC or myself whatsoever, so you have the option of a print-out version AND a real, quality set of cards.

Whaddya’ guys think? If you’d like the idea, send an email to the folks at frederator!

As always, reblog, repost, and tell Pen Ward that his bears make me sad that they’re not MY bears.

The “Everyone Is Finn” All-in-One Download (RAR)

As a final thought, I’ve included the 12 card sheets, PDF rulebook (LQ), and the token sheet into a convenient .RAR file for you.

Everyone Is Finn (37 MB)

With this, Series 1 is officially concluded. I’ll release updates and maybe a few individual promo cards here and there if I have the hankering or if there’s enough support for it.

I hope you all enjoy this game as much as I have.

PLEASE stay in contact. Tell me about your experiences playing the game. Give me suggestions, feedback, requests, ideas- ANYTHING AT ALL!!!

#EveryoneIsFinn

I hope you guys *LSP voice* have a fun time.

Problems with the Rulebook PDF

Hey, everyone-

I’ve gotten some complaints that the PDF (technically made of one large image) isn’t printing multiple pages, which I suppose I should’ve foreseen.

I’ve gone and corrected this issue, though the result is an unfortunately low quality PDF file since I think PDFs are largely the devil’s minions and I cannot work them at all.

Anywho~

Rulebook PDF - LQ (1.3MB)

Please download this version if you’ve had ANY problems with printing the old one at all!!

Thanks for your continued support, and as always, reblog, repost, and tell Pen Ward that I’m hungry.

I’d love to hear from you about the project or Adventure Time in general!

Seriously. You’re all beautiful and I love you with the white-hot passion of a thousand suns. Also if you ever want to see your parents again….

I lied when I said that last update was the last one for the night.
I decided to take a picture (with my phone, so forgive the quality) of the culmination of today’s efforts. I’ve printed the first Alpha version of the card game as it stands without a rulebook. There are 90 cards right now.
Ninety cards in like a week~ I’m on fire.

Everyone is Finn?! One of those wacky games!

Hey world (hopefully inhabited by Adventure Time fans),

I’ve decided to start posting progress on a game I’m making that I’ll be releasing to the public at no charge whatsoever (because I’d be sued and it’s wrong). It’s a game based loosely on an existing game called Everyone is John. Seen here.

The basic premise of Everyone is John (an excellent imagination-based role playing game) is that a Narrator (one player) is telling the story of John, a clinically inept man with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Every other player is a conflicting personality vying for control of John’s body.

These personalities use Willpower to bid for control over John, but they can quickly run out if they bid too much. Once in control of John, you can perform any action you’d like, but you have to roll a die when you do. If you roll anything less than a 6, the action fails (See John being inept). The caveat here is that every player gets to write down two private skills at the beginning of the game. If anyone in control of John performs an action that’s related to one of these skills, you only need to roll a 3 or higher.

The goal of the game is to complete obsessions (also chosen at the beginning of the game) to earn points. It’s a massively silly game with all sorts of absurd twists and turns and a lot of fun. I’ve played with super nerds, mild nerds, and people who aren’t normally big gamers. Absolutely everyone I’ve played with enjoys this game, since it’s so expansive and it offers infinite opportunities for hilarity.

SO- I thought, how better to pursue that type of imagination and enjoyment than with an altered version of the game set in Adventure Time’s very own Ooo with Finn as the protagonist trying to complete Heroic Quests.

The main difference in Everyone is Finn is that it’s a card game instead of just an imagination RPG. Players will have small hands with cards that drastically alter the flow of gameplay and encourage the storyline along.

I’ve made this blog in an attempt to spread this idea and hopefully touch the hearts and minds of imaginative young pukes everywhere.

Never stop having fun.
